Affirmations for Chemotherapy |
|
by Jennifer Laugelli, RN Pittsburgh, PA I am a nurse and when I was faced with the decision of whether to proceed with chemo or not, it was frightening. Knowing perhaps just a bit too much, I finally decided to do it. I wrote this affirmation for myself to help my mind command my body to remain healthy through treatment, to release the fear of the chemo, and to let it know that I am Captain of My Ship. It was a great source of comfort and although I can not tell you that it was the only factor that kept me healthy, energetic and free of side effects other that hair loss, it certainly did help me as I did not take any other medication. I thought that maybe it could help someone else. Chemo you're blessed to ensure that I'm pure, your healing powers I accept as a cure. Your job now is to clean up the act, all cancer abbarencies you will attack. Cancer cells will not endure, while good cells remain healthy and pure. Chemo's effects do not last long, all systems, cells and organs be courageous and strong. Side effects I do not accept, my body and life force I command to protect. Keeping me healthy and healing me fast, cancer for me is a thing of the past.
